Can anyone suggest where I can find a new conductivity monitor/detector like the LKB/Pharmacia/GE unit which has been discontinued with no replacement?

Dionex, Metrohm, Waters, Shimadzu come to mind. There are probably others as well.

We just bought a standalone GE/Amersham conductivity detector to add onto an Agilent stack. Are you talking about something different because the GE guy right next to me said they have no plans to quit selling them.

I used to have a Wescan conductivity meter.

Dcree,

Check this out:

In addition to the conductivity detection/monitoring you get the pH as well. You might ask: Why should I monitor the pH? Well, if you’d like to safe time and material you might go for on-line buffer preparation. Another use for monitoring the pH could be in investigation/trouble-shooting situations. Anyway, you may choose to monitor the pH and you may choose not to, but the extra functionality is there.
Another possibility, especially if you only need a single UV wavelength, it might be adequate for you to have all 3 measurements capability (UV, conductivity and pH) integrated in the same instrument.

The GE monitor I was looking for is at http://www.gelifesciences.com/aptrix/up ... one=Labsep. Customer Service told me it's discontinued without a replacement. The pH/C-900 looks like it might work.

Thanks to all for your help.
