sample loop size

Hi all,
We have varian-450 GC for gas analysis and I want to know the size of the sample loop. Does anyone have any idea...

I guess you've looked at the loop and it doesn't have a label on it? I'd visually compare it to one of known size. Or just install a known size one and look at the peak areas.

Not familar with this GC, but my first guess would be 0.5 ml.

You can take the loop off and weigh it empty and then filled with water. 1gram water = 1cc
