hi

would like to know whats the role of temperature on IEC, especially in terms of resolution and retention???

The above is very, very weird in chromatography context :?

Rick1112, in IEx the temperature is somewhat insignificant. Of course you can observe changes with overwhelming temperature fluctuations, but it’s usually not a parameter I spend too much time and considerations on. Ambient (room temperature i.e. 19 – 26 degrees C) used to work for me.
