7673B problem

7673B/5972/5890II. with chemstation A1701G BA 1.0.0. Ver.
The problem is: After the injector injects the sample the GC would not respond (ramp the temperature) and both the red and the green light in the GC go off and the tray arm wont take the vial back to place it in the tray. Also there is no respond for the chemstation(perinjection state).

This may be very obvious, but are there any lights on the injector tower and injector controller box showing. The tower error light will be a series of flashing lights. Count the number of "flashes" in the series.

You might also check to see what you have selected in the software for the start trigger.

Is the remote cable connected? Should be a cable running from the GC (upper inside right cover - remote position) to the back of the autosampler controller and probably to the MS as well (sorry, been a while.)

I have seen that before, it is usually caused by the tower.
