Sample Preparation for Solution with Sugars

dear all,
please give me any suggestion for sample preparation of amino acid syrup. the syrup contains large composition of sugars, especially sucrose, that disturb the development in HPTLC analysis.
both amino acid and sucrose have same solubility properties:
sucrose: very soluble in water, in formamide, and in dimethylsulfoxide, slightly soluble in ethanol
lysine: freely soluble in water, almost insoluble in alcohol and ether. it is also soluble in dimethylsulfoxide.
thanks in advance.
regards,
siswanto
