UV Library with different Chemstation version

Hi everyone!

I created an UV library on an Agilent Chemstation B01.03 version (filetype *.UVL) for HPLC-UV/DAD methods. In an older version of the Chemstation A10.XX and A08.XX I cannot open the library file ("XXX.UVL is not a valid library file").
Does anybody have an idea why I get this error? I fear this has something to do with the change from 16 bit (A Version) to 32 bit (B Version), but I am not sure.
Does anyone know here a method of making the library backwards compatible?
Thank you very much for any help!

Yes, this is a version problem. Nothing in the B series is readable by an A version software. Of course, the B series can read all A files.

I do not think there is a workaround for this, and I doubt that Agilent will release anything. You could search the user contributed library on your ChemStation CD, and there might be something there, but I am not aware of any other options (other than upgrading your A series).
