HPLC method and detection of peracids [June 18, 2004]

Has anyone heard of a good HPLC method or reference for separating peracids (peroxyacetic, peroxypropionic, etc)and detecting them, either directly or post column derivitization.

Separation is probably best via ion-exchange. Post column derivatization is probably best via oxidation of an active phenol to a chinone with detection of the chinone directly or as a derivative
