I need to analyze TMA in water. I tried DBWAX but a significant tailing was obtained.
How can I improve a form of peak?

Amines are not easy to analyze by GC. There are some columns that have been optimized for amines, and it would be worth trying one of them.
I also have Stabilwax, CP..Amine. What do you think about them?

Water may damage any column you chose to use.

Do you have the ability to use ion chromatography?

Porapak or Hayesep P, or Chromosorb 101 might be a better solution to your problem.

You could also use Chromosorb 103.

Good luck,
