I have a Styragel HR1 Column (THF). Methanol was used as eluyent by mistake for about 3 hours. Now I don't obtain good resolutions, probably the column is damaged.
Is it possible to fix it? Thanks.
Dory

If it does not perform any more after being converted back to THF, it is probably dead. Polymeric packings swell and shrink significantly as a function of the solvent. THF is a swelling solvent, methanol will shrink the packing.
