Can anyone point me to a lab that will make custom standards for GC?

Specifically-> 0.2% L-lactide monomer in chloroform.

We can supply the monomer if needed

I liked dealing with them when you were there. Since they were acquired by Sigma they are too much of a "big" company.

We are checking there but response is somewhat slow

I've made requests from Restek and Supelco. Most recently I requested a quote for a ~50 analyte residual solvent mix from both. The Restek quote was 4X the Supelco quote, because Restek started requiring a higher level of QC on mixtures with >25 analytes.

I can call the manager of that department and do some chewing out if you wish. :lol:

Just give them another call and tell them you need it immediately or they will lose a repeating sale.

Miraculously, those magic words can work wonders.

Good luck,

JesseG,

Accustandard, Chemservice, Ultra Scientific . . . to add a couple more to your list of possibles.

Best regards
