Just purchased a new Bruker amaZon X ion trap, and was wondering what other labs that don't don't use a nitrogen generator do to conserve nitrogen gas, particularly in standby mode. How low can you lower the flow and keep the system clean? Can you leave the gas off and do a bake out? Any help is appreciated.
