High Pressure Column

Hi All
I am using Biosep SEC S-4000 column to analyse wheat proteins. Eluent is 0.1 % SDS in sodium phosphate buffer. This column is relatively new..only 80-90 sample runs. It is giving me very high column pressure (450psi) at a flow rate of 0.7ml/min (where it's supposed to give only abt 250psi).
I have tried running acetonitrile gradient /washing with buffer thinking that it could be due SDS or some hydrophobic protein stuck in the column, but of no use.
Please help
