We have a series of analog output data (0-10 volts) recorded into an excel sheet every 1 second through Omega Data Acquisition module, the output data are from a pulse discharge detector mounted on a SRI-8610C GC. Currently there is no channel assigned to this detector, so there is no normal chromatograph available, but we would like to somehow integrate the data (the peaks) in a way just like what a normal gas chromatograph software would do. Do any of the experts here have any idea what kind of product/softrware that can take the analog voltage data and integrate peaks like any software for gas chromatograph does?

If we buy an analog data acquisition system, and we still want the same kind of feature as I mentioned above, do any of us here know any data acquisition product like that available? Or do you have any suggestions on some data acquisition system that have such a feature (integrate analog output)?

Anyone here has experience of using pulse discharge detector? We are using it in PDECD mode, by the way. I would really appreciate if you could share some experience with me.

Empower is capable of importing CSV files as chroms and integrate them.
If you want to write out a peak integration algorithm by your own, be aware that this won't give you the same results as other software would give you.
Even Chemstation won't give you the same results as Chromeleon, as Empower, ... They all use different algorithms.

If you can provide me with an example of such an excel file, I will give it a try, but don't expect too much.

Almost any chromatography data system is capable of accepting an analog input, and they are all capable of integrating to measure peak areas. As aceto_81 pointed out, the exact values will vary a bit from one system to another because of the different algorithms used to establish the beginning and end of the peaks and correct for the baseline in between.

Do a Google search on "chromatography" and "integrator" and you'll come up with a wide range of solutions.
