Agilent 7890A- HS overlapping cycles????

I am desperate, so any help is welcome.
I don't know how to do cycle overlapping on Agilent 7890A-CTC for HS analysis.
For example, my sample must be thermostated for 60 minutes, and run time is 70 min. It means that it takes 130 min per sample. Where and how do I adjust parameters to get higher sample throughoutput?
What do I need to do to have one sample thermostated while other is running?
Thanks

I'm not familiar with that instrument, but every other HS instrument I'm using manages the run time/oven time to optimize throughput. Just enter the GC run time into the HS and it should manage it. Maybe this instrument is different.

You use the headspacer control, not the GC. It's in the manual.

Call the tech support line for the company you bought the CTC from, and see if the cycles can be overlapped on your version of hardware and software. Some software packages allow heat ahead, others don't. If the package you are using calls Cycle Composer for the CTC control Peter is correct. Each line in the sequence loads the parameters for the sample on that line, and each line must be finished before the next is started. The handheld controller is easy to use, and I never use software for headspace.

Hi,
You did not mention software type/version and if your CTC has integrated control in GC software (i.e. you can set up CTC parameters from Chemstation- if You use Chemstation).
