Can anybody recommend how to analyze cyanoacetamide by GC?

Since you've asked about this analyte in both forums, I'll ask the necessary question - have you tried either LC or GC? (Uwe Neue suggested HILIC w/ low UV detection for LC). What did you try? What were your results?

The question was:"How to analyze cyanoacetamide by GC?", man.

Can anybody recommend how to analyze cyanoacetamide by LC?
NP or RP?
UV or RID?
I would try GC-NPD. However, my question still stands - have you tried analyzing cyanoacetamide by either method, and are stumped, or are you hoping someone will hand you a method gift-wrapped with a bow on it?

An HILIC/UV was tried. The RT is too close to a front one.
I am not interested in your comments which do not relate to the chromatography, man.

Hi yaakov
You will find that advice will be more freely forthcoming if you improve your manners. Nobody on this forum owes you anything, and if you are unable or unwilling to answer sensible questions, civilly put, I for one am disinclined to take the trouble to help you out.

You could try an NPD and a standard nonpolar column to see if you get any response, I am not too optimistic of the analysis being a success. I would use LCMS, from looking at the structure that should work well.

Ron,
I agree with you regarding NPD. I'll try MS. Thanks for your advise.
