Hi
I am trying to make a custom field using peak area, slope, and the y intercept.
This is what my formula is (CompRef1[Area]-A)/B, but it is not working. Should there be something else infront of A which is the intercept and B which is the slope.
Thank you

Hi Greg123,
What is the problem that have you seen with this field? The custom field should work in the syntax you quote and there is no need for anything before A.

The custom field requires that you have set values for CompRef1 in the components table of the processing method and that there is a valid calibration curve for the current component.

Looking at the formula, this customf field will take the area of the Component reference and quantitate it using the calibration information for the current component.

Does this help?
Ben
