baseline drift

I ran a matrine-type alkaloid with acetonitrile :0.1% phosphate acid(ph3.5 adjusted by triethylamine)5:95 on a c18 column(tolerable ph 2-7.5) , uv detecter,210nm.
The plasma samples were pretreated with 10% trichloroacetic acid to precipitate proteins , 15000r/min 10min,then injected the supernatant fliud 20ul into the hplc.
A serious upward baseline drift occurred.
is this due to TCA? is the ph of the supernatant fluid too low that the column can not tolerate?
and how can i upload the chromatogram ?
