Anyone on this forum plans to go? I am.
Look like the economy is turning around, since more companies than last year will hold a hospitaility suite (my favoriate from ASMS)

No, but I'm representing my company at the AOCS in Phoenix, AZ next week.

More companies have hospitality suite, but the treats were worse than last year: no liquor/spirits, only a couple wine and beer selections.
There are many new exciting MS instruments and software. The QQQ we bought two years ago, which was considered the most sensitive one on the market, may have been dropped out of top 5 or even top 10.
Software, at mean time, may have become more important than the physcial properties of an instrument.

I do not remember ever them offering liquor/spirits in the hospitality suites, only beer or wine (but I might be wrong). Consider yourself lucky anyways to be offered any alcohol as you were in Salt Lake City after all (if you know what I mean). I was there as well...

I had such a great time!! There is always a small amount of liquor in a few of the suites. (I found it difficult to get up early the next day) I actually made a lot of friends and new contacts this year... AND the Bruker suite Wed night was a lot of fun!! Videos on my FB page to prove it!
But I might plan on heading to Denver next year.... Denver is definitely conference friendly IMHO. Maybe we can organise some kind of 'forum meet?'
