Dear all,
Can anyone provide details about the file format (.d) used by Agilent mass hunter. Is it a Gas chromotgraphy(GC) format or Is it a mass spectroscopy format (LC/MS or GC/MS)?
I want to convert .d to my own format. Expecting you early response.
Thanks in advance.

Are you enquiring about the binary headers,
or starting up Qualitative Analysis, selecting file, export, and then choosing one of four file types, eg mzXML. and choosing the entire data file radio button.

chemstation thanks for response
Actually I want to extract raw data from .d directory.
The .d directory has files with following format
1. .ctl
2. .mac
3. .ms
4. mth
5. .PMX
6. pos
6. .bin (MSScan.bin, MSPeak.bin, Inside AcqData Directory of .d directory).
Are all these files necessary for extracting the raw data? If so, could you please send me details about their formats or any link which describes these formats.
I need to extract the data and read in my data processing system.
If any other files( missing in the above list) are essential for extracting the data, please mention, them also.
Thanks in advance.

It's been a while, but if I remember correctly the .ms file is the raw data. I am not familiar with some of the file types, but some are pretty obvious, for example .mth for method and .mac for macro.
