ChromQuest - instrument window closes down on Open File

Hi,

I (am trying to) use ChromQuest 4.0 in offline mode to open data files created on another computer, but the instrument window closes down without warning whenever I choose File / Open / Data.

I have Windows XP SP3, and have just installed a CQ license after my previous pc died.

Has anyone got any ideas on what I may be doing wrong?
