Hello every one,
I’m trying to change the method of Valproic acid from GC to HPLC. The main problem that I have is the low response of its related compounds in the HPLC.
Does any one try this before …..?

Dear Albatran,
If you see the British Pharmacopeia (1999) there is a dissolution test of sodium valproate tablets, I have tried but in the future I will be tried with sodium valproate tablets. I hope this information maybe help you.

Thanks.
Assay method is ok. And I validate it. But the related is the main problem.

Why do you want to change from the GC method to an LC method? I thought that was the main reason for doing this analysis by GC-because it gives better sensitivity for this compound

I want to use RRF instead of standard preparation. But can use RRF in GC? And what about its sensitivity?
