Hi All,
we do do a lot of normal phase and we have our dedicated systems equipped with normal phase seals. However, I suspect that those are necessary for usage of DCM, MTBE and such. We are looking to deliver a method to a customer who is usually only doing RPLC and the method "only" uses heptane and an alcohol that is also an RPLC solvent - most likely EtOH or iPOH. Are the seals necessary for that combination? I doubt that it is super agressive, since one can even use coated silica columns. Thank you so much in advance for input!
