When attempting autotune, I am getting error message during electron multiplier setting that there may be too many ions in the trap. How do I reduce the number of ions in trap?

Make sure your column oven temperature isn't too high when trying to tune, also put a split on your injector. If that fails, you might try baking the trap overnight but you will likely need to clean it if the first two ideas fail...
