why Amberlite® IR120 is so cheaper than SCX spe catridge?

what do you mean by this?
what is the weakness of Amberlite ir 120, compared to silica based SCX SPE cartridge?
they are very similar on capacity and I think Amberlite IR 120 can operate at very high ph range. right?
i do not see the disadvantage of this product?
could you please let me know if you happen to be familiar with this product.
because you will get what you pay for.
