Dear Experts

I need to know whether P-Nitrobenzyl alcohol is possible to get detected by HPLC ? If yes , can anybody suggest method ?

Thanks in advance

p-Nitrobenzyl alcohol sounds like a decent UV-absorber to me.....

You didn't state what matrix, whether you're trying to detect 10% or 10ppm, etc. That makes your question way too vague, and I'm being courteous here.

You should do a literature search and determine the best wavelength for UV absorbance of your analyte.

Almost any analyte can be detected by refractive index and aromatic rings are strong absorbers of UV light and are easily detected by a standard UV detector.

As correctly and previously noted, it is the level of analyte that is the determining factor.
