I’ve been using the Qeucher method for my extraction and clean up, but i got to ask myself do I really need to re extract a plant extract before injection or should I just dilute and inject to GC-MS
Please experts clarify my confusion
Thanks!

Depends on the extract, excipients, your analytes.
If the extract completely dissolves, then what more could you "extract".
If you need e.g. just the lipophilic/volatile compounds, then maybe you want to do liq-liq partition with e.g. aqueous : n-heptane etc.
If there are non dissolving excipients, then you indeed need to extract your analytrs from the extract. But maybe quecher is too uch, depending on your analytes. Find an extraction solvent/method focusing on your analytes.
Also try to use a similar solvent like the one used to make the plant extract e.g. if the extract was prepared by water, then it probably won't fully dissolve in high ethanol or even n-heptane as sample diluent etc.
