I have a library from shimadzu for benzodiazepines and metabolites BUT my instrument is agilent 5975. How can I convert that library to agilent library format ".L" ??

It may be worth looking at LIB2NIST http://chemdata.nist.gov/mass-spc/ms-se ... _tool.html. If the format used by Shimadzu is compatible (many instrument vendors use the NIST format) then convert your file to JCAMP format and import the JCAMP data set into Chemstation. (I've not used Chemstation in a while, so I am assuming you can still import JCAMP files.)

It is worth looking for free tools - and you may have to go through more than one format in your path betwen systems. Otherwise you will need to use MASSTRANSIT, which can be obtained through a number of the suppliers of mass spec software. And, my recollection of MASSTRANSIT is that it was sufficiently expensive that I found it worth taking the time to look for free stuff.
