Empower Intersample Custom Field

Hi,
I am trying to create a custom field to get the difference between assay result for two injections of the same sample.
So if I get 100.2 and 99.8 for 2 injections of the same sample I want the assay range to return 0.4 (absolute) after the second injection has calculated the assay result. I tried using the following CF but it returns the range for every injection, not taking into account different samples.
((A.%.%.(Assay_Result))-(B.%.%.(Assay_Result)))
The sequence I am using is like:
sample 1 weight 1
sample 1 weight 2
sample 2 weight 1
sample 2 weight 2
So I want it to return the result after every weight 2 injection. any ideas of a smart way of doing this maybe without using labels? Also, can you use the ABS function for intersample calculations? Cant seem to get it working.
