Hi all,
I am looking for butaphosphan analysis by HPLC. It's a veterinary medicine. Any suggestion is highly appreciated.
Thanks.

Dear thohry
You Can try it on HPLC Using 0.1% Phosphoric Acid on Develosil Column or Symmetry Shield RP-8 with Refractive index Detector.may be it will help u. I was not Analyse it but Butaphosphan ( 1-(n-Butylamino)-1-Methylethyl-Phosphonous Acid.)

With a log P value of -2,3 you will have serious problems getting any retention on a reversed phase column.
You should try with HILIC instead, the attached separation is of ATP, ADP and AMP but the problems with reversed phase separation should be related to the phosphonic acid group so it should behave similar to AMP.

Dear thohry,
Did you come to a conclusion with this question? I'm currently finding a quantitative method for butaphosphan as well.
