Mellvaines buffer

Hi all,

I do not know what really mellvaines buffer is (pH=5). Could anyone explain please. Thank you.

It probably is a typo:

Plugging "mellvaines buffer" in to Google produces two results the one you listed (which I can't access) and one other. If I access that I find they actually meant McIlvaines buffer (it's typed that way in the text). I bet that the author of the paper you have the link for has typed an e instead of a c as the second character in the name.

Mellvaine Buffer pH = 24 hits
McIlvaine Buffer pH = 35,500 hits

Email the paper author and ask..
