Hello, I am using the Empower software. I build a sample sets, however, the injection could move automatically from vial to vial. For example, my run time is 10 minutes, after ten minutes I noticed that at the bottom of the screen showing "Injection running" and after about 10 minutes showing "intrument failure". So everytime, I have to mannually choose "Abort and move to the next line" to continue my injections. Does anybody meet this problem before?

Hi Smartcici,

Most probably, the trouble is caused by an invalid instruction in the instrument method.
Open the instr. method and find out what happens at “time 10 minâ€

Hi all,

I also have got a problem like smartcici.
I using Empower2 with UPLC and I quite sure my instrument method don't have anything wrong. I cann't inject sample in sequent both gradient and isocretic method.

Please help! :(

Hi Kasiban,

More detail is needed. Especially the exact events, as you experience them.
F. x. what error messages do you get – if any? Does the system stop after exactly after10 min?

So, help doesn’t always come by its self – sometimes it takes an effort.

Best Regards

Did you tried to make an new instrument method?
Not "save as", but make a new instrument method, based on your system.
We had this problem in the past and after making a new instrument method, the problem was gone.

Whenever confronted with something like this, it is a good idea to also post whatever is in the Empower Message Center as well.
Thanks,
DR
