Varian 300LC/MS

I'm working with a Varian 300 LC/MS and I have problem with the nebulizing gas. I want to use Nitrogen but the software always change it to air. Because I 
ran out of compressed air and waiting to have a cylinder delivered and can't use the system. Is it a software bug? when the Varian technician was here, he couldn't fix it. I sent him numerous email with other issues never got back to be, I even sent an email to the Varian website, no response. Realy unhappy with Varian service.
