Would anybody know whether you can assign peak numbers (i.e. 1, 2, etc) to the chromatography obtained via EMPOWER?

I'm trying to streamline my data export processes and where I have multiple peaks I need to have a numbering system so that the data can be picked up by Excel.

Hi Neetz,
This was an "new" feature in Empower 2. An Auto Peak Label button was added to the components table of the processing method which assigns a number to each of the components.

A work-around for Empower could be to create a custom field to label your components.

However, is it strictly necessary for you to export your data out of a compliant ready package such as Empower into excel? (apologies, you probably have very good reasons - but this always makes me shudder a little).
Cheers,
Ben

An alternative is to use a Relative Retention Time field of limited precision (ie: 1 decimal place) and have Excel sort peaks by that.
Thanks,
