Hi

I want to ID and quantify pyrethroids.

I have a TR-5 column in my TRACE DSQ GC-MS.

Is it possible? Any idea w.r.t temperature program?

Hi

This article might help you:

Generally "type" -5 columns seems to work, mentioned in the above article and in others.

Pyrethroids run great on our DB and Rtx 5MS columns so you should be good. A number of the Pyrethroids take fairly high temperatures to elute, so you might want to start on the hotter side and ramp up to 300ish.

@krickos - looked at the article, thanks!!

@jh1 - will make note of that!!
