Exporting chromatograms from ChemStation B04

I sometimes need chromatograms to put into reports. When I would copy them from the Axx software they would come out nice with the font on the axis large enough to read easily and the trace in blue. Now in the B04 software you need a magnify glass to read the axis and the trace is a black line. Having the colored trace line is nice but not critical. Being able to read the axis is critical. Anyone have a suggestion on how to fix this problem. I have been using the copy widow to clipboard to transfer the chromatograms to Word.

Hi Eric,
I use two mode to export the chromatogram.
1.Grraphics menu, copy to clipboard submenu. This gives gray axis and blue trace.
2.Report to file, *.EMF. This gives black axis and blue trace also. This second way has better resolution, and contains the ret. time and the compound name. Depends on the graphics options, what You are defined.
You can insert the EMF to word as a picture.
Ver B.04.01 Sr1
I hope this could help.

I use a small cut and paste program called "PrintKey2000" works like print screen but it allows you to pre-crop your pic. Google it. Its good for reports and allows you grab portions of your computer screen.

Hi Eric,

Have you tried instead to copy it into Powerpoint instead of Word?

You can ungroup all the data in the Powerpoint copy and delete any lettering or annotations in the original and just replace it with any font that you like.

This is a bit laborious, but you did say that you only need to do it occasionally. You can also change the thickness of the lines in the Powerpoint copy if you want to.
