Shimadzu LC10 printer issue

Hi, We have a old shimadzu system with LC10 software on a windows 98 machine.

We recently changed the printer and keep getting an error "[0722] Report manager is busy, please try later"

If we go into the report settings and click preview it says a printer isn't installed.

We can however print to it from all other pieces of the software, just not from 'report print' in the data analysis single run.

If you print a zoomed copy of the chromatogram it works, if you pull up the peak report table and print it that works. You just cant seem to print the full report.

The printer is the only one installed in windows, it is the default printer for both windows and the lc10 software, and we have already restarted the PC

What printer are you using? Manufacturer and model number, please.

HP laserjet 1160

As I said, you can print to it, just not using the report function.

I suspect the printer is too new to be supported by the software. I would try installing the driver for a LaserJet II or LaserJet III if the printer can use these drivers and see if the software will print with that driver.
