PROBLEM with Varian MS 2000

Hello everybody!

I have a problem with my Varian MS 2000.

I am getting a message "Trap filament is open" and am unable to operate the machine.

What should I do?
Please let me know.

Sounds like the filament has burned out or broken. Replace that and the instrument should operate.
