Hi

I was so excited to run samples today, after cleaning the ion source, lenses and all else that needed cleaning last week.

When I did a full tune this morning the detector gain calibraiton failed!

Any ideas why this happend??

We had this problem last month

The engineer found that the settings of the lens 1,2and3 voltages and the prefilter offset were so far off nominal that the autotune could not adjust.

Thanks!

I noticed that the 3rd lens has a voltage of 40V, which is really to high for the normal 7V. Lens is working overtime to focus into the quadropole.

Technician suggested I clean again, maybe did not sonicate that well last week. Looks to him like it's just dirty. So here I go again :(
