Hi!
Last June we bought an Agilent 1200 MS Ion Trap 6320 Series but unfortunately eight months later the instrument doesn’t work properly. It was not the first time that we had an LC/MS. Since nine years ago we have an Agilent Ion trap and we have never had any problem with it.
I try to explain what happens with this instrument and then I hope somebody can help us.
•After calibration the resolution is good…but several days later goes down…peak resolution appears worse!
•We talked with Agilent’s people and they said that new instrument is more sensitivity and it makes a shorter lifetime of detector…??????
We are looking for a solution since June…but we don’t succeed... if someone works with this Ion Trap or similar or know something about it …please contact us.
