Are your analytes proteins or bound to proteins in the sample? or are you looking to remove proteins in order to analyze the supernatant?
Good judgment comes from bad experience, and a lot of that comes from bad judgment.

Mr JGK
I am looking to remove proteins in order to analyze the supernatant?

The important thing is in which solvent your analyte is soluble, usually for protein ppt we use acetonitrile, sometimes methanol, perchloric acid etc.Select the solvent based on the solubility of your analyte.....
Hope this may help
