protein precipitation method

Can any one tell about how can I proceed for protein precipitation method. How can we select a precipitating agent. Because I want to do chiral separation of a perticuler racemic mixture. plz tell me informaton regarding this. plz send me any articles if u know.

Are your analytes proteins or bound to proteins in the sample? or are you looking to remove proteins in order to analyze the supernatant?

The important thing is in which solvent your analyte is soluble,usually for protein ppt we use acetonitrile,sometimes methanol,perchloric acid etc.Select the solvent based on the solubility of your analyte.....
