Problems shutting Chemstation down

Hi again

We have multiple PC's some new some old, all with different versions of chemstore / chemstation with security pack installed. (don't think any have had any updates added other than when the enginear installed em)

The problem we have is you can't shutdown chemstation on any of them without using taskmanger and force quitting it, one system actually hardlocks and has to be reset.

It always seems to hang at the same point, with the busy message saying chestore trying to update (cleanup maybe) instrument settings (i think thats it deffinatly chemstore and instrument settings tho)

anyone know how to fix this...its very annoying and seems to be systematic of the software itself.

Also I checked the chemstore install log on one system and it said it failed to register the dlls, i found and ran the registerdlls.cmd and ran it, how do i know if it worked, reading the results on screen doesn't say if it worked or failed.

OK fixed this problem to

if anyone cares its caused by chemstore trying to delete files. In chemstore admin options uncheck the "enable delete of unused data" in the data reload pull down
