OpenLabs CDS Acquisition V2.8 Sequence stuck on "aborting"

Hello,

after starting a regular sequence via OpenLabs on our older Agilent7890B yesterday, the run status of the instrument is permanently stuck on "aborting".

The activity Log shows "Error in writing data file" as a reason for aborting the sequence.

Nothing I have tried (including switching the instrument completely off) has allowed me to remove the Sequence from the run queue an start a new one.
I can add to the queue, but anything new will just get stuck behind the "aborting" item...

Any suggestions on how to resolve this would be apreciated.

On your AIC, there should be an applet in the system tray for forcing uploads of "stuck" data. Have you tried running that? It's called "File upload queue" and it's icon is an upward pointing arrow.

Check the space left on the hard drive. I had a similar issue and it took me longer than I care to admit that I had completely filled a hard drive.

Ty for the suggestions, in the meantime I got hold of someone with admin access to the PC running the AIC who could terminate the stuck process, worked well.
