CO2 in UHP Helium carrier gas

We just got a cylinder of UHP helium that has about 10,000 baseline counts of mass 44 which I assume is carbon dioxide. Aside from obscuring the base of peaks, does CO2 cause ionization problems or can I limp along with this cylinder?
