Hi,

I am looking to purchase a used/demo system of LCMSMS in addition to my two systems, Agilent 6460B and Waters TQS micro. I am currently getting a 4-year-old 6470B at a good price of around 75K USD. Now my question is should I go for this system or wait for a demo system of Agilent 6575 which could be available in due course of time (maybe by the end of the year), but the cost would be around 150K.

I mean, is there a huge difference between the 2 systems or should I go for the 6470B, especially considering the cost difference. Our laboratory is engaged in testing pesticide, mycotoxin and antibiotic residues in food products.

Any inputs would be appreciated to overcome this dilemma. Thank you.
