High background conductivity

Dear Forum,

I´m fairly new to ionchromatography and have no real experience.
Right now I´m fighting with the high backround conductivity of an anion system.
My predecessor told me that a conductivity of 0,75 µS would be good, however I´m at 1,515 µS now and changing the water for eluent generation doesn´t seem to do the trick.
The system is an Integrion by ThermoFisher. It has a supressor, a CR-ATC 600 and the eluent generator cartridge 500 KOH installed.
I´m certain the water isn´t the problem, because next to it an cation system is running with the same water and it has no problem with the conductivity (here 0,097 µS).
The supressor works as I can see liquid and bubbles exiting it.

I have no clue what to do and hope someone with more experience can suggest something.

The value 1,5 µS/cm is good too. If LOD, LOQ and other method parameters are OK, the background conductivity is not an issue to concern about.
