I have a new ICS-6000 installed 2 weeks ago, then after install had to switch computers. Old computer wouldn't run Chromeleon 7.3.2. Switched computers, everything setup properly. But the past few days, I have been randomly receiving an error on my cation system. Error receiving data: Error reading from DC-6000 @ USB. A device attached to the system is not functioning. It then stops the squeance but doesn't shut down the DP, EG, or even lose connection with the DC. It's also not consistent, happened after 3 days of running, or 12 hours or even after a sample or two. I have connected all data cables directly into the computer's USB ports and made sure not to use the fast ports as well. Power for all modules are plugged into a UPS power bar. Any suggestions welcome.

Any suggestions welcome.
Have you checked the power settings of the USB ports & hubs in the Windows DeviceManager?
make sure to deactivate any "power save" settings for the USB.
Also, check that Windows does not power down the HDDs. Should be in the energy settings from Windows.

If there isn't anything in the Windows Power management settings, perhaps trying adding an internal USB expansion card to the PC and attaching the equipment to that.

It sounds to me like the power on the USB ports is dipping to conserve power or perhaps a faulty USB header.
