I created a Python controlled Waters 515 HPLC pump

I hope that this may be of interest to fellow analytical chemists...I created some hardware that can interface with a Waters 515 pump and send it commands from a laptop remotely via Bluetooth connectivity. The hardware (a small microcontroller module that I add inside of the pump) can "press" the front panel control buttons, thus with the right sequence of button depressions it can basically do anything that a user can do, but controlled from a python script. It also transmits the pump pressure. I built this because I wanted to run some gradient pump rate profiles for my experiments. I'm now offering these upgraded pumps for sale on eBay (https://www.ebay.com/itm/205069951585). I'm interested to learn what others think about the project - what other features would people find useful?
why do not use empower .
Unless you have purchased the Empower license from Waters, you are using it illegally. The license does not transfer to new owners. Thus, if you ever attempt to get a system services from Waters, they will not do so. Plus I like tinkering with electronics equipment. :P
