Gc and chem station not communicating for sequence runs.

It seems the gc and and the chem station are nit communicating. I recently changed both columns and created new methods. Wednesday I had a sequence ce run of about 30 samples and it started normal, ran the first 13 with no issues. On ru. 14 after Injection nothing else happened. The data log stops and the chem station seemed to think it was still running In the morning g the sequence was aborted. The GC and Heads pace said ready. I updated the sequence table and began a run. The software says run in progress but the GC doesn't start running. If I start the sequence from gc and heads pace it will begin to process the first run then go back to ready state. The run will register on chem station and if opened a no signal available message appears.
I've shutdown all components and restarted and no change. A single run will run as normal and the sample processes as normal.
Any suggestions?

Step 1 is to make a brand new sequence table and maybe a new method.

I'd also suggest searching the forum for similar issues, because this sort of thing is pretty common.

You can also try reinstalling the GC using MSDchem or whatever setup software your version uses.

Although we are not using Chemstation for them, Agilent HS can be very sensitive... we strongly recommend not messing with them at all once you've started a run. Do not add any lines to your sequence, do not monitor, do not mess with it at all.
If you have a client/server installation, you can get on something that is not attached to the running system to make sure additional files are getting collected. I would not recommend doing anything further than that (no processing, no previewing, no monitoring) before the conclusion of the run.
