Agilent 7890B: Will Not Power On After Shutdown

Hello!

I mistakenly turned off our Agilent 7890B to replace the septa and liner instead of just turning down the inlet temperature.

The unit will now not power back on. I have tried unplugging and plugging back in to no avail.

Could I have possibly blown a fuse or something? At a loss for what the issue is.

Thanks!
Brandon

Consult manual for locations of any fuses that may be blown. Those are easy enough to check.

Also, lean into the switch a bit, play with it. Agilent is not known for having great power switched (especially on 1100, 1200 series LC modules). If it turns out to be the switch, use a power strip (if you can find one that won't trip when the column oven heater turns on) for cutting power to it in the future. This is common practice with their LC stacks in some labs.

Thanks DR. I removed the back panel and found out both of the 8A fuses are blown. About to go make a ride to the store see if I can't find replacements.
